Anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction and difficulty in relationships can interfere with your satisfaction and enjoyment in life. Therapy begins with an assessment, identifying what has led up to the place you are at and what you hope to gain from therapy. Together we set goals and the methods to work towards achieving them. Our work is individualized to you. Following our sessions you are encouraged to process the session. You may be asked to continue some of the work we focused on outside the session. This may include reading, practicing a skill, or keeping a record of something we are addressing. We will build on these together. This active participation in and out of sessions will allow you to get the most out of therapy. We will regularly check in on our progress towards the goals you identified. As you progress we may begin to spread sessions out gradually until we have decided you have achieved what you came for. In therapy, we walk through the tough stuff and celebrate the wins together.
